LAB CATEGORY / 3 FIELDNOTES

Buying.

Make the acquisition case. Then verify the asset.

A memorable address needs to serve a real purpose. The buying archive brings together naming value, aftermarket due diligence, and broker engagement design. Start with a brief, compare realistic alternatives, and document the complete commitment before enthusiasm narrows the decision too soon.

These fieldnotes separate communication quality from authority, rights questions, transfer readiness, and acceptance. They also help allocate the tasks among the buyer, intermediary, transaction provider, and technical administrator. A large price is not evidence that the name fits the project, and an agreed price is not proof of delivery. Keep unresolved questions visible and retain the ability to decline when the acquisition no longer supports the original purpose.
