DOMAINSNEWSLETTER.COM

Evidence before enthusiasm.

How we distinguish useful domain research from unsupported claims.

Scope and purpose

DomainsNewsletter.com publishes general educational material about domain naming, buying, selling, marketplaces, brokerage briefs, and related operational questions. The Lab’s checklists and frameworks support research; they do not guarantee a safe transaction, a particular price, or a commercial outcome.

Name the type of evidence

A listed asking price is not a completed sale. An offer is not an accepted agreement. An appraisal or estimate is not proof that a buyer exists at that amount. When using comparable information, record the source and known context rather than flattening unlike figures into an unexplained valuation.

Missing information remains missing. Repetition does not establish independent confirmation when several reports trace back to the same original claim. We avoid fabricated statistics, testimonials, credentials, sales records, or claims of inventory ownership.

Use the appropriate original source

Each Lab fieldnote includes a directly relevant editorial reference. Primary sources include official technical guidance, policy organizations, and providers describing their own services. A provider’s product explanation is evidence of its stated process, not an independent guarantee of performance or suitability.

Operational requirements can change. Before acting, confirm the exact domain’s status and the current applicable terms with the relevant provider. We do not present a past fee figure, interface description, or generic rule as a verified quote for your account.

Keep relationships transparent

GoDaddy, Afternic, Sedo, Spaceship, and Atom are independent editorial topic labels here. DomainsNewsletter.com is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official newsletter of those companies. No marketplace partnership or affiliate relationship is claimed, and the publication does not represent their inventory.

The site is a reading library, not a brokerage, registrar, or transaction service. References to providers are not instructions to bypass their legitimate support or payment processes.

Respect the limits of an article

Specific acquisitions may require qualified legal, technical, tax, or transaction advice. An attractive name does not settle third-party rights, and technical control is not permission for every intended use. Do not treat an editorial checklist as a clearance opinion about a particular domain or business.

AI and agentic naming coverage should describe actual product functions rather than promise unverified accuracy or autonomy. Web3 naming discussion distinguishes particular systems and tested environments rather than assuming universal compatibility.

Corrections and meaningful dates

Visible article dates identify the archive entries. We do not display a separate update badge merely to make an unchanged article appear newly revised. Where a correction is needed, the relevant passage and supporting reference should be reviewed together.

Send a page URL, the passage at issue, and a primary source through the Contact page. Please avoid sharing credentials, confidential transaction materials, or private wallet information. Clear, source-backed corrections help keep the reading library useful.
